I
For your first appointment:
Before our first session, I will send you a link to my client portal. There you can complete initial paper work and tell me a bit about yourself. I will also send you the link to my waiting room at that time. First appointments are an hour in length. It is important that we document and discuss history, relationships, safety and aims for therapy in the first session. That said, I respect your boundaries and understand needs for pacing. It is always okay to decline to answer. Building a relationship and helping you feel comfortable bringing your whole Self into the room is one of our first goals of treatment and boundaries are an important piece of that. Further goals for therapy are constructed collaboratively and tend to be finalized by the 3rd or 4th session. Goals remain fluid throughout treatment, and may change as we see fit, or as previously held goals are reached.
A note to families: When working with youth, initial sessions are often conducted with the parent/guardian. Please share any sort of documentation you may have in the client portal that outlines your child’s/family’s needs (i.e. IEP, psychological evaluations, previous therapy records).
Fees:
$108.56 per 45-minute session for individuals, couples, and families
$144.75 per 60-minute session for individuals, couples, and families
$70.00 per group session (per member)
If you would like to bill insurance, please share a photo of your insurance card on the client portal. I accept BCBS, Harvard Pilgrim/ Optum, Tufts and Cigna. Depending on the details of your insurance plan, you may have some out-of-pocket costs such as a deductible or co-pay. If you have an unmet deductible, payment for the full session cost is due at each visit until your deductible is satisfied. I also offer sliding scale payments.
Payments are due at the time of your appointment. I accept cash, check or credit card payments.
Good Faith EstimateUnder the “No Surprises Act” of 2021, as of Jan 1, 2022, all health care providers are required to inform individuals who are paying out of pocket for services that they are entitled to a “Good Faith Estimate” of the cost of expected charges for treatment. “Good Faith Estimate” will be offered upon scheduling of the first appointment.
